As old saying contends that there are no atheists in foxholes, a reminder that stressful times often turn thoughts to prayer. Chaplain Jose will join you or your loved ones in your foxhole to be your calming spiritual guide – not imposing his belief system on you but walking side by side with you in your faith or spirituality.
How Chaplain Jose helped others:

A first-time mother delivered twins prematurely. They weighed 4.6 pounds when Chaplain Jose was called to visit, which he continued to do frequently at the family’s request. With no local church home, they needed spiritual support throughout this challenging time – more than the hospital chaplain could provide. Chaplain Jose provided personal, intimate support. He’s glad to say the boys today are healthy young men and he remains in contact with the family.
A young man was tasked by his family with deciding whether to remove life support from his mother, a choice no one wants to make. Chaplain Jose helped him work through his emotions as well as difficult end-of-life ethical and moral issues. Never telling the man what he should do, he instead helped him reach a personal decision that honored his mother and allowed him peace in his final hours with his mother.
